Wags of Love ® began with one simple truth:

Dogs are family, and family should never be left out of the days that matter most.

As a devoted dog mom and wedding-day enthusiast, our founder Alana understood this on a personal level. In 2023, while planning her own dog-inclusive wedding, she quickly discovered what so many couples experience: the stress, the logistics, and the overwhelming realization that including your pup — something that feels so natural — can suddenly feel complicated, confusing, or even impossible.

Who will handle the leash?
Who will transport them to the venue?
Who will keep them calm, comfortable, and loved?

Alana faced every one of those questions and then some.
And in the middle of that chaos came a moment of clarity:
No couple should have to choose between their dream wedding & the dog they love.

And that was the moment Wags of Love was born—to make that change.

What began as a personal solution quickly evolved into a mission — one that fills a much-needed gap in the wedding industry, but more importantly, honors the emotional bond we share with our dogs.

FOUNDER & CEO

Hi, I’m Alana — the proud dog mom, hopeless romantic, and founder of Wags of Love. I’m the type of person who would rather stay in and spend time with my pups than do anything that doesn’t involve them. I read the back of every bag of dog treats but rarely check the ingredients for myself. And when someone asks if I have kids, my answer is always yes… followed immediately by a photo of my dogs Nayla and Ace.

I’m the helicopter mom, the fairy dog mother, the crazy dog lady — and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’m also your biggest hype girl and loudest cheerleader, a girls’ girl with a bubbly personality who thrives on celebrating love in all its forms. And yes — I’m a planner at heart. Organized, detail-oriented, and Type A, I love creating systems and ensuring everything runs smoothly — especially when it comes to your wedding day and your dog’s care.

I started Wags of Love because I know what it’s like to want the very best for your dog — especially on your wedding day. I created a team and a service that ensures your pup is cared for, celebrated, and loved every step of the way, so you can stay present and simply enjoy every moment of your big day.
